Purpose & Scope of Examination Policy
This policy establishes the statutory rules and procedures for conducting mid-term, end-semester, and practical examinations to ensure absolute fairness, academic integrity, and standard evaluation across all University Faculties.
Core Examination Regulations
1. Exam Scheduling & Notice
Exam timetables are published at least 4 weeks prior to the examination window. Overlap conflicts must be reported to the COE office within 5 working days.
2. Hall Entry & Identity Check
Producing a verified Admit Card along with original University Student ID is mandatory for admission to the examination hall. Candidates must report 20 minutes before time.
3. Electronic Gadgets Prohibited
Mobile phones, smartwatches, programmable calculators, Bluetooth devices, and unauthorized study sheets are strictly forbidden inside the exam arena.
4. Special Accommodations & Scribes
Differently-abled candidates requiring extra compensatory time or approved scribes must submit formal documentation to the COE at least 2 weeks in advance.
Evaluation & Grading Standards
10-Point UGC CBCS Grading Scale
The University adopts the standard 10-Point Choice Based Credit System (CBCS) grading scheme (`O`, `A+`, `A`, `B+`, `B`, `C`, `P`, `F`), computing SGPA per semester and cumulative CGPA upon degree completion.
Revaluation & Challenge Valuation
Students may apply for revaluation of answer scripts within 15 days of result declaration. If variance exceeds 10%, a third independent evaluator is assigned as per university statutes.
