The Academic Committee is the apex statutory body responsible for maintenance of standards of education, teaching and training, inter-departmental academic coordination, examination policies, and adoption of NEP 2020 curriculum reforms.

Key Academic Responsibilities
- Reviewing and updating course curricula in alignment with National Education Policy (NEP 2020) and UGC guidelines.
- Evaluating teaching-learning methodologies, outcome-based education (OBE) metrics, and laboratory capabilities.
- Scrutinizing new academic program proposals, interdisciplinary credit frameworks, and skill development courses.
- Ensuring strict compliance with statutory councils including AICTE, PCI, BCI, NCTE, and NCISM.
